The Keep Tasmania is an ultra-luxury, off-grid retreat located on a 650m rocky escarpment in the Blue Tier. Hosted by Sue and Jono Stagg, this exclusive property accommodates just two guests at a time, offering 360-degree views, a chef’s kitchen, and a stunning outdoor granite bath. The goal of this project was to create a digital experience that captured the breathtaking beauty of the property while seamlessly handling bookings for their bespoke, high-end packages.

The Challenge
Operating a premium retreat completely off-grid comes with unique logistical hurdles. The property is remote, requiring guests to navigate unsealed forestry roads without relying on standard GPS, and it operates entirely on solar power and rainwater. The challenge was to build a site that communicated the ultra-premium value and “digital detox” appeal, while clearly setting expectations about the remote location and driving conditions so guests arrive safely and prepared.

Our Approach
We designed a visually immersive WordPress website that mirrors the transition from everyday life into total wilderness isolation. We utilized deep, moody tones alongside stunning high-resolution photography of the sandstone building and surrounding forests. We created frictionless landing pages for their high-value bespoke offerings like the Wellness and Elopement packages and implemented a clear FAQ section to manage logistical expectations smoothly.
